Our Charity Open Day at Daventry Miniature Race Cars
Updated: 4 hours ago
We had a brilliant day on Saturday 10th October at Daventry Miniature Race Cars, opening our doors at 9am and welcoming around 50–60 visitors throughout the day!
It was fantastic to see so many people coming along, including lots of familiar faces returning after visiting us years ago. Even better was hearing how much everyone loved what we’ve done with the place. We’ve been busy developing the venue and adding exciting new activities, so it was wonderful to see such a positive response.
Mini Golf Proves a Hit!
Our mini golf was particularly popular, with plenty of visitors keen to give it a go. It was great to see everyone getting involved and enjoying what we have to offer.
There was also lots of interest in our escape rooms, with visitors keen to find out more and book a future visit. It’s clear there’s plenty of excitement around the range of activities we’re bringing together under one roof!
A Sneak Peek at What’s Coming Next
We also gave visitors a little taste of what’s to come by having our archery equipment on display.
Our archery area is currently under construction, so it isn’t quite ready to open just yet, but the interest on Saturday was fantastic! We’ve certainly whetted a few appetites, and we’re looking forward to sharing more news as this exciting addition takes shape.
There’s lots happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience even more of what Daventry Miniature Race Cars has to offer.
Supporting Our Local Community
Our open day was also a chance to raise money for a fantastic local cause, Daventry Town Community Pantry.
Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the day, we raised just over £100 for the Community Pantry. We’re delighted to be able to support an organisation doing valuable work in our local community, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed.
Building for the Future
The day was about so much more than fundraising. It was an opportunity to reconnect with past customers, meet new people, showcase our developments and introduce our growing range of activities to the local community.
With so many people showing an interest in coming back, we’re already looking forward to welcoming new and returning customers through our doors again.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited us on Saturday and supported Daventry Town Community Pantry. Also a huge thanks to our staff Steve and Dave who volunteered their time to help make our charity open day such a success!
We’re excited about what’s ahead for Daventry Miniature Race Cars, and this is just the beginning.
